New Musical Director

The Bell Inn Brass Band has welcomed music teacher David Taylor to lead us, after Steve Gittens
stepped down from the position due to work commitments.

David is an experienced bandsman, having played with some of the top brass bands in the area
including the championship section Kidderminster Town Band. He attended Lacon Childe School in
Cleobury and read Band Studies at Barnsley College, under the directorship of the late Major Peter Parkes,
one of the leading figures in the brass banding world.

David has been associated with the Bell Inn Brass Band for many years and the players are looking
forward to working with David and hope to create a very successful partnership.
