Beer & Brass Festival...Cleobury Mortimer
Saturday 4th September...Start to play 11:30am

The event starts at 11am and carries on throughout the day, and well into the evening, near to the Church in the middle of Cleobury
Various Bands will be playing for about one hour each

What a great setting and a glorious sunny afternoon for for this typical English Garden Fete
A couple of pieces of music, played out for the first time, made it more of an adventure !

Cleobury Country Centre...Open Day
Saturday 19th June

The Cleobury Country Centre has been built on a site owned by Shropshire County Council
and is adjacent to Lacon Childe School in Love Lane
The building has arisen from a project conceived by Cleobury Country Ltd.,
a not for profit, local social enterprise company

To celebrate the end of the project a special "Open Day" was held which the Band was pleased to be a part of

Drumming Workshop
Saturday 12th June

The Band took a break from playing "Brass" last weekend and took part in a drumming workshop, led by DRUMLOVE
The two drummers both taught and entertained us with background stories of where each style of drumming originated before moving on to demonstrate the necessary techniques needed to play the structured drumming pieces

Nightingale Nurses Fete
Sunday 6th June

The afternoon started so well...sunshine, lots of people, plenty of football matches to watch and the Band sounding good !
Then the clouds moved in, the wind got up and thunder and lightning brought the rain and then hail !!!
The Band had to give way to the weather on this occasion but well done to all our players for keeping a smile on their faces...even when soaking wet !!!
