Abbey
Park Bandstand....Evesham
E-mail
from David Gavin
Just a few words of
appreciation for the Bell Inn Bands performance at Abbey Park Evesham on the 3rd
of August 2003. It was the last full day of our holiday in the Cotswolds,
and when we saw the event advertised we made sure we arrived early to get a good
spec. Congratulations to Penny on leading the band in such an excellent and
varied repertoire. She may vaguely remember 2 elderly ladies and an elderly
bloke next each other on scooters. I was the old bloke, and my wife was next to
me on the park bench. Thanks to all who took part in that performance. You
really brought a great end to our Holiday. I only wish we lived nearer so
that we could attend more of your performances. Unfortunately Merseyside is a
bit far. Best Wishes & keep up the good work.

What
better way to take-in the sites
